KIT207 Devlog - Week 2, Tutorial 1: Making a Scene
This first tutorial activity reintroduced Unity to the unit. Alongside learning more about basic 3D asset importing and management processes, the main task was to create a simple scene containing the tourism object from Study 1 and other suitable objects sourced from the internet.
I managed to find, resize and arrange some suitable free models on TurboSquid to fashion a scene to the remainder of the real storefront. As I was pressed for time, I didn’t get to put nice textures on all of the other objects in the scene.
Boxwood Plant (plants beside entrance) by TOK7CK on TurboSquid
Wheelie Bin by CianGameDev on TurboSquid
Menu stand 05 (sandwich board) by 3DRivers on TurboSquid
Old Picnic Table by Jacwoodhug on TurboSquid
Tree Evergreen Realistic by Lyrog on TurboSquid
All other models and their textures were created by me.
